Online Grocery Delivery Company shopFoodEx.com Launches New Website
(PRWeb) January 11, 2007 -- Roanoke based Internet grocery delivery company shopFoodEx.com launched their updated website on January 1st 2007.
The website was completely redesigned from the ground up by Ozeworks, a company out of New York, with some input from locally based Tandem Creative.
According to company President, Greg Land, the new website has added features, including a new upgraded server, that will make the entire shopping process substantially quicker and more streamlined.
Thanks to new technology customers can now add multiple items to their shopping cart, add weekly staples to their "QuickList" and reorder an entire past order at the click of a button. Customers will also be pleased to note a "Weekly Specials" section as well.
In addition, the company is reducing it's $9.95 service fee to $5.00. With some major back-end additions to the site, Land say's the company is finally on equal footing with other grocers with regards to their price structure as well; the company strives to keep their prices equal to or within 5-10% of the local pure play grocers.
"On our old website believe it or not we had to manually change prices individually which was an arduous task that often went undone or was done inconsistently. Now, we can change prices on the entire site, or by individual categories, with a single click."
ShopFoodEx was founded in 2003 and offers local home delivery in Roanoke, VA and ships non-perishable groceries throughout the United States.
